i know this photo isn't anything spectacular or even close to my best, but i like how soft and different it is in contrast to most of my work. i like that it's mostly out-of-focus, save for a few strands of my hair. so. yes.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry so much about technique because you seem pretty full of "emotion" right there. It shows and affects the viewer.
People feel dirty about sexual acts, but the softness of the picture makes it seem more personal and like a little secret that's totally okay that everyone just GETS.
Sorry if I made a wrong assumption and this picture wasn't supposed to be sexual at all, just my interpretation.
