nightmare VII by bailey--elizabeth nightmare VII by bailey--elizabeth
this year i've taken my first foray into film (darkroom) photography, and though buying the required chemicals, film, and paper is actually eating up all of my hard-earned money, haha, i am absolutely loving it! this is from the third roll of film i've ever shot.

i will post more from the series soon!

and see more of my artwork at www.baileyelizabeth.com ! my shop will be up and running very soon (by october 19th, i hope!) and new photos will be added as well!

please check out my new and improved facebook page!

you can also follow my tumblr for updates, thoughts, and to see things that inspire me.

everything in my gallery is © me, bailey elizabeth. do not use anything without my written permission.

shit, I know it says "do not use anything without my written permission" but I kinda just did that. I erm, painted this picture because it inspired me so much straight away, and I know I should have asked first but I didn't want the inspiration to slip away...

I'm really sorry, if you would like me to take it down I will do so. If not, I hope you like it and I hope you can forgive me. xD

There is something oddly satisfying about the whole negative shooting isn't there. I'm on my fourth role of medium format and just got a scanner that does the negs for that so hopefully they'll be up soon too.

what camera equipment/film did you use for these photos?

All photos were taken using a Canon EOS Rebel XS 35 mm camera with Kodak TMAX 200 and 400 film. I developed the film using traditional methods, then printed from the negatives in a normal darkroom.

These are scans of the prints.

it would take away from the integrity if i edited them at all, the only editing i had to do was saving them as .jpegs.
